Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Strasse 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS; IONOS processes the data solely to provide the hosting and in accordance with our instructions.

When the pages are accessed, the server automatically collects data transmitted by your browser: the page requested, date and time, volume of data transferred, referrer, browser type and operating system, and the IP address.

This data serves solely the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in providing and securing the site technically. Log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest.

The database in which content and incoming property enquiries are stored is also located on the same web space at IONOS and does not leave Germany.

Property enquiries and contact

If you contact us via the enquiry form, by email or by telephone, we process the data you provide – in particular your name, company, email address, telephone number and details about your property – in order to handle your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry serves the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose it was collected for, and at the latest once statutory retention periods expire. Data is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to provide the requested service.

Applications

If you send us an application via the application form or by email, we process the data it contains – name, contact details, information on your professional background and any attached documents – solely in order to carry out the application procedure.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with § 26(1) BDSG. Documents submitted through the form are not stored permanently on the web server but delivered directly to our mailbox.

If no employment relationship results, we delete your application documents at the latest six months after the procedure ends. This period accounts for the assertion of claims under the German General Equal Treatment Act. If you would like us to keep your documents beyond that for future opportunities, we require your separate consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Cookies and consent

This website sets two cookies, both technically necessary:

“locke_session” protects the forms against misuse (CSRF protection) and is deleted when you close your browser.

“locke_consent” stores your choice from the consent dialog. It contains only that choice and a timestamp, no identifier of you personally, and expires after 180 days.

Neither requires consent under § 25(2) TDDG – without them the website would not work, or your decision would have to be requested on every page view.

Beyond that, no statistics, marketing or third-party services are currently embedded. No data is transmitted to advertising networks and no profiles are created. Should such a service be added in future, it will only be loaded after your explicit consent – until then your browser establishes no connection to those providers at all.

Changing your consent

You can change or fully withdraw your choice at any time – withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. The change takes effect immediately and for the future.

Your rights

You have the right to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests, you may object to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR. Consent you have given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

Irrespective of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for us usually the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.

Transport security

This website is delivered over an encrypted TLS connection, which you can recognise in your browser’s address bar. Content you submit via the form cannot be read by third parties in transit.
